Theatre of War opens tonight
Theatre of War, the latest offering from war experts, Battlefront.com is finally being released after years of waiting. Most famous for their Combat Mission games, Battlefront strived to make yet another highly authentic war game, with realistic tactics, AI, and missions built using the help of historical documents....

To celebrate the impending release of the game, on the 19th (which is tomorrow), Battlefront have released the Theatre of War demo, which offers 5 tutorial missions covering basic gameplay, unit control, and camera behavior among other elements.
Of course it’s not all just a learning exercise as there’s also one whole playable mission available from the German campaign.
The game isn’t sold in stores due to Battlefront’s independent publisher policy so it’s only available for purchase online at battlefront.com, with a $10 saving on pre-orders to help get some of you fence sitters to fork over your money.
If you’re sure or even have just a weak feeling that you missed your calling as a WWII general due to the fact that you were born way too late, this should be right down your street.
