Black holes distort time too, right?
It seems I spent 4 and a half hours working on Bouncers today, and it wasn't even on any major scene. The backgrounds for this film should be pretty lively, I'll put it that way.
13 different cars most of which have 2 different skins, each with an interior, and a driver at the wheel. You'd think we're trying to recreate the highway chase from the Matrix Reloaded.
We DO wanna have a cool car chase eventually though.
Oh yes, that would be sweet.
Trying to make crazy rich environments in Q2 IS crazy, as I may have stated several times in the past. Fortunately this isn't a film that requires acres of hilly fields (Why has nobody used UT2k4 to remake The Sound of Music yet?).
As you'll know if you read Kane's blog, he nearly died climbing over a fence, so he's taken a few days off to regenerate. Maybe some exotic substance will enter the wound giving him crazy super powers. It would just be another ordinary day at Binary Picture Show.
Things seem quiet... a little too quiet at M.com but thats nothing new.
I've observed some interesting progress on the Quake 2 opensource front. Some guys seem to be putting a lot of effort into opengl lighting which really seems to make a sweet visual difference to the engine. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope it all happens soon.

Lively forums? That, my friend, depends on the conversation. Somebody wake me up when theres an interesting one ;-)
You're right, the OpenGL lighting does look good, I also love the water effects they have come up with (may be old, but new to me :)
Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see what you come up with
Thanks, Crack 6k and Barranger. Your encouraging words are a big help.
Hey Doc, Is there any way you could turn the site feed on for your blog? Here's how to do it:

Well Strange Company has one too, and I think they are a bit less secretive about their major production. It's called Bloodspell and is a big project (though not as big as ours, I don't think). Ill Rob has one too but I can't remember the link.
Heres the one for Bloodspell.
